PRESENTATION
Dear teacher,
______________________
Our feeling is one of joy and exultation in the Lord for offering you the Biblical Study magazine, whose theme is: Icons of the new covenant, an invitation to discover the lives and legacy of characters who shaped the history of Christianity and contributed to the expansion of the Kingdom of God. Each of them left us a powerful example of courage, devotion and unconditional surrender to the divine purpose.
In this issue, we revisit inspiring stories: John the Baptist, who boldly prepared the way for the Lord; Matthew, transformed by grace; Luke, the attentive and detailed evangelist; and John, whose intimacy with Christ teaches us about love and truth. We also highlight Peter, the impulsive leader shaped by resolute conviction, and Paul, the tireless apostle to the Gentiles. Other names, such as Andrew, Philip, Barnabas, Mark, Timothy, Thomas, and James, also challenge us with their lessons of perseverance, obedience, humility, and trust.
May these stories strengthen your journey of faith and renew your commitment to God’s calling.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
John 15:16 (NIV)
