Pastor Estevam Fernandes says that, under the therapeutic viewpoint, taking care of the family implies urgent care of ourselves, especially when it refers to our feelings, because they are the ones that give meaning and consistency to our lives. Healthy feelings imply healthy relationships, and this is a learning issue.

Learn to love and value others, to respect, to forgive, to empty yourself, to hug, to value people’s positive skills are simple actions that can generate deep changes in the family’s life.

Saying “I love you” is much easier than nourish anger. No family survive without love, because only it (love) can result in attitudes such as, tolerance, mercy, patience, trust, forgiveness and surrender.

Family is a plan of God. For this reason, there’s guarantee of success, if we establish it according to God’s will and direction. Only a home built on the rock, Jesus Christ, can live everything that the Lord had dreamed for them.

I hope that during the lessons we can build our families so they can result in blessings to their offspring, to the church and to the whole society.
