Dear teacher,

Our feeling is one of joy and exultation in the Lord for offering you Magazine No. 69 of the Lessons from the Word of God Series, whose theme is: Fundamentals of Christian Leadership — Biblical Models of Faith, Motivation, and Entrepreneurship.

Our study does not focus on the theological foundations of Christian leadership but on the biblical account of people who exercised leadership in different ways. John C. Maxwell, one of the world's most famous writers on business leadership, says, "Everything I know about leadership I learned from the Bible."

Not all people will exercise leadership in the same area, but everyone has the potential to demonstrate it in some specific field, on an ongoing or episodic basis. The Lord is always revitalizing the Church, raising leaders in different positions, and enabling them to guide the flock with amazing results.

In our biographical method, we present Old and New Testament personalities who exercised extraordinary leadership. The examples highlighted in this magazine show how, from an emergency need, the Lord raises visionary and strategist people, who start to exercise command over a certain group. Such people, as a consequence, do not infrequently suffer persecution and attacks.

Leadership is a gift from God!

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are diversities of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God that worketh all in all.
